On March 29, 2024, the 2024 International IC & Component Exhibition and Conference (2024 IIC Shanghai) was successfully held at the Zhangjiang Science Hall in Shanghai. Hosted by AspenCore, this event brought together numerous professionals from the global semiconductor industry to explore cutting-edge developments in the field. Axera’s AX620Q chip was honored with the “Best AI Chip of the Year” award in the “Popular IC Products” category at the “China IC Design Awards,” owing to the company’s exceptional R&D capabilities and practical application achievements in AI chips. Additionally, Axera earned a place among the “Top 10 AI Chip Companies” in the esteemed 2024 China IC Fabless 100 rankings.

The AX620Q, as Axera’s cutting-edge IPC SoC offering, features the state-of-the-art Axera Zhimou AI-ISP 4.0 image processing engine and the Axera Tongyuan 4.0 NPU engine, which is known for high-performance and low power consumption. It leads the industry in image quality, intelligent processing capabilities, and analysis functionalities. The AX620Q integrates a 100Mbps network PHY, an audio codec, and an RTC real-time clock, showcasing remarkable strengths in imaging, computing power, and overall performance. Featuring 256MB LPDDR4 memory, support for 16MB NOR Flash, and functionalities like dual-camera quick boot and dual-camera angle of view (AOV), this SoC not only trims module sizes but also cuts down on BOM costs for customers, making it ideal for various low-power application scenarios. To date, the AX620Q, as Axera’s flagship product, has been adopted by multiple clients for mass production.
